Battery Charge Time Calculator
How To Use
Designed to calculate the maximum battery charge time for any given chargable battery, based on the entered information. The calculator will calculate the missing value of the first three entries; one must be left blank. All calculations for efficiency loss will be done no matter which value you are trying to calculate. The normally accepted standard for efficiency loss is 20%. Although 10% and no loss are virtually impossible, we have included the potential for reasons of understanding. 30% and 40% are far more likely than 10%. If loss is above 40%, you need to attempt to find the reason by changing the charger or replacing the battery. Typical entries for our calculator might be a 1000mAh rating and 50mA of charge current. That would yield a realistic charge time of 24 hours. Click on Calculate after entering either of the two value.
