    Note 1. The NTE type 50W Zener Diodes listed have Anode (Standard Polarity) connected to stud. Add suffix letter "K" to the device number for Cathode (Reverse Polarity) connected to stud (i. e.NTE5240AK).
    Note 2. Zener Voltage (VZ) is measured with junction in thermal equilibrium with +30°C stud temperature.
    Note 3. The zener impedance (Zzt) is derived from the 60Hz AC voltage, which results when an AC current having an RMS value equal to 10% of the DC zener current (IZT or IZK) is superimposed on IZT or IZK. Zener impedance is measured at 2 points to insure a sharp knee on the breakdown curve and to eliminate unstable units.
