     Surge Protection (TVSS)
When it comes to receptacles, no other manufacturer offers all the Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor (TVSS) options that Cooper Wiring Devices can. That is because they provide conventional TVSS receptacle products like they do, and innovative designs featuring our patented, replaceable SurgeBloc® modules, as well. Like standard TVSS devices, SurgeBloc® products provide an audible alarm to warn when surge protection expires. But unlike the others, protection can be restored immediately by snapping in a replacement module. There is no need to rewire the device or interrupt power to the receptacle, so they are ideal for reducing equipment downtime in hospital, computer, and school applications.

All of their TVSS products are manufactured from high-impact-resistant thermoplastics, boast exceptional clamping and surge current ratings; and are available in both isolated and non-isolated ground configurations.
