NTE has a broad selection of regulated AC-DC adapters. These AC-DC switching power supplies supply a steady, regulated voltage in any situation as opposed to non-regulated AC to DC adapters which have a tendency to vary widely in voltage. AC-DC adapters are also known as wall warts or power adapters. They are commonly used in equipment that has no other source of power, or in battery powered equipment, where the supply, when plugged in, can sometimes charge the battery in addition to powering the equipment. Use of an external power supply allows portability of equipment without the bulk of internal power components. Available in 5V, 6V, 9V, 12V, 18V and 24V outputs and a variety of wattages from 2.5W to 72W with output currents from 500mA to 6A, we will help you find the right device for your application.
