Arc Flash Protection
Decontactors are a combination plug, receptacle
and disconnect switch. With Decontactors installed, workers can
safely and easily make and break electrical connections under full
load. The receptacle's dead front prevents access to live parts
and thus, exempts workers from needing to follow NFPA 70E specified
work procedures associated with performing energized electrical
work. |
Decontactors allow qualified workers to change-out a motor or
other electrical equipment without needing:
