With
Meltric DS and DSN Decontactor™ Series plugs and receptacles,
watertightness is achieved as soon as the plug mates with the receptacle
or when the flap cover is closed.
Competitive products require the user to remember to
carefully tighten an additional plastic ring. If this extra step is not
taken, rated water tightness on competitor's pin and sleeve devices will
not be achieved.
